John Glasgow, founder of Campfire
John always wanted to be a founder. In fact, right out of college, he was one. When it didn’t take off, he saw it as a sign to first gain experience in the corporate world before trying again.
He pivoted to a 15+ year career in financial services and picked up a universal truth: nobody likes NetSuite. Leading finance at Adobe Commerce and partnerships at Bill.com made it abundantly clear that modern ERP software needs much better automation and flexibility. Now, he’s building the tool he wishes he’d had throughout his career. Campfire is a fully self-serve, configurable platform that improves financial visibility and accelerates monthly close processes.
John has persuaded some of their biggest clients to do what most executives wouldn’t dare: rip out their legacy ERP software and replace it with a startup. In the enterprise world, this is akin to rewiring the plane’s cockpit while still in flight. Coming off a $35M Series A led by Accel, the team is focused on turning their early wins into market dominance and building a team of fantastic engineers.

Timon Gregg, founder of Strala
Timon is young, but the speed at which he moves more than makes up for it. Strala only officially incorporated earlier this year, yet they've already gained serious momentum in the market. His philosophy is simple: stop planning, start building. That conviction drove him and his co-founder to uproot from Switzerland and the UK for the US, where Timon thrives in SF’s high level of ambition and appetite for risk.
After Timon's co-founder struggled with various 'automation' claims processing tools, the team concluded you can't just layer AI onto existing solutions and call it innovation. To truly alleviate the manual, inflexible claims processing experience, they’ve rebuilt claims management systems from the ground up. Strala combines automation with deep insurance expertise to transform how claims are processed, increasing speed, accuracy, and satisfaction across all insurance verticals.
Their bet is paying off. In mere months since incorporation, Strala has already hit six-figure ARR and closed a $3.8M seed round. As it turns out, moving fast isn’t reckless when it works.
Catch Strala’s explosive growth story next week and experience Timon’s ambition firsthand.
