⭐️ Apply now to attend our October 15th startup showcase to find your next career-defining opportunity.
Earlier this week, friend of FYSK Nikunj Kothari captured a subtle but important reality:
He’s right. The way we notice new companies, connect with top engineers, and spot breakout moments often happens on X. And we’re not the only ones buzzing about top startups.
So today, we’re excited to highlight some startups in our October 15th showcase lineup with receipts straight from “where the work happens.” Here’s what the tech community is saying about who we’re featuring at our next showcase:
Lindon Gao, founder of DYNA Robotics
DYNA is building general-purpose robots that are powering the future of the physical economy. You know how you wish a robot would fold your laundry? Lindon’s team is making that happen.
They just closed their $120M Series A to expand their research and engineering teams, which means hiring talent like you.
Justin Lopas, founder of Basepower
Base is modernizing our outdated power grid with their nationwide network of distributed batteries. Their solution is two-fold: strengthen critical infrastructure and save Americans money.
They just raised $200M from a16z to power their rapid growth across Texas and roll out to other parts of the US. Crossing my fingers they come to California soon 🤞🏻
Nicolas Kopp, founder of Rillet
Everyone hates accounting — that’s why everyone loves Rillet. Rillet is an AI-native ERP that automates accounting for complex revenue models, and it works incredibly well. They recently raised their $70M Series B from a16z and ICONIQ, just months after their series A.
Jeffrey Wang, founder of Exa
Exa is tackling one of the hardest problems on the internet: web search. The applied AI lab is developing a novel neural approach to build the first search engine optimized to return exactly what you search for.
They just raised an $85M Series B to continue building their state-of-the-art search engine used by teams at Cursor, Notion, and more.
Quinten Farmer, founder of Portola
Portola is the team behind Tolans, the AI friend designed to help you feel grounded, inspired, and connected. Tolans took the internet by storm earlier this year, with over 500k users and viral social media growth.
After their summer Series A led by Khosla Ventures, the team is expanding the Tolans universe and looking for great engineers to join them.
🚀 Meet these founders, and 5 other breakout startups, at our Founders You Should Know showcase on October 15th in San Francisco. Apply now to join us at the show.
