Founders You Should Know - Feb 7 Showcase recap
the one where an electronic wind instrument took us into a world of pure imagination
Dear Founders You Should Know friends,
“I just love this event so much. It brings back that curiosity and eccentricity that made our industry so wonderful for so long.” - FYSK attendee
Just as variety is the spice of life, so it is with show business. After nearly two years of running Founders You Should Know, we’ve learned that the best shows are the ones with something for everyone – a bit of curiosity, sprinkled with a touch of eccentricity, layering in visions so big, they inspire everyone with all the ways in which technology touches and transforms our lives.
Our first show of 2024 was a banger of a variety show that featured everything from anime video game creation using generative AI, to a reimagination of personalized computing, to a members-only home swapping network, to a marketplace for vets.
Why feature such a diverse cast of startups? Because we’ve found the best shows are the ones in which there’s something for everyone. Check out our recap below – and if there’s a startup you’d like to connect with, send us an email with context and we’ll do our best to suggest the connection!
Psssst – We’re (FINALLY) bringing FYSK to NY! If you or your friends are looking for a new role, APPLY NOW for our inaugural NY FYSK, co-hosted with USV and Shine Capital on March 27th.
Warmly,
Jen and the FYSK team
